Jack Sinclair
with Lorraine Wilkie (best Horn) and Irene Reid (best Cornet
at the contest),
proudly show off the silverware won at the Dunfermline Carnegie Contest in
October 1987.
Although the band only came third overall they beat Championship and First
Section bands
winning the prize for The Best Fife band and the coveted Fife Championships
Trophy.
The testpiece used was Gilbert Vinter's 'Variations on a Ninth'.
